Meet the Doctor

Dr. Boylan works to transform our understanding of health. She is dedicated to educating people on the importance of keeping the body healthy and maintaining wellness rather than just reacting to disease. Being proactive and allowing the power that made the body to heal the body is key.

She acknowledges the devastating effects of the vertebral subluxation on human health and therefore goes to extraordinary measures to educate the community about the benefits of chiropractic for the restoration of health. Her seminars and presentations have generated local recognition. In fact, she has been certified as a Partner in Education in the Danbury area whereby, together with the local newspaper and area businesses, curriculum materials for classroom use are provided.

Dr. Boylan received her B.A. in Biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton in May 1984. She then obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in December 1987 from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo and shortly thereafter served as an associate for a year at the Blue Mountain Chiropractic Center in Peekskill, New York.

In 1989 Dr. Boylan established the Boylan Chiropractic Center in Bethel, CT. where she serves as Director and has built a successful practice. In fact, in 1989 Dr. Boylan and her staff won the Humanitarian Award for outstanding leadership, excellence and dedication to the Chiropractic profession from Koslow Practice Management. The center offers physical examination, diagnosis and treatments for patients. X-ray, chiropractic adjustments and adjunctive therapy modalities are utilized in addition to patient education and public speaking for corporations, schools and clubs.

Dr. Boylan's professional affiliations include the International Chiropractic Association in 1982 and the Connecticut Chiropractic Association in 1989, both of which she continues to be an active member.

In addition to her dedication to the practice, Dr. Boylan lends support toward local charities such as The Scotty Fund where she was recognized for her support in 1992-93, 97 and in 2000. The dollars raised were used to help local children with life threatening illnesses. She has been recognized as a continued sponsor of area baseball teams. In addition, Bolyan Chiropractic put a team together in 2000 and 2001 and walked for babies in March of Dimes of America.

Other community associations include: Greater Danbury Business Association since 1991 where, in 1994, she served as Grievance Director and in 2001 as president; Bethel Business and Professional Women's Group since 1996 when she won the honor of Young Careerist; Bethel Chamber of Commerce from 1989 to present; Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce from 1994 to present; Bethel Visiting Nurses Association board member from 1991 to 1996; and from 1990 to the present she has served as Lector at Saint Mary's Church.
